Originally commissioned for Sharjah Biennial 15: Thinking Historically in the Present, Al Qasimi entangles historical narratives with contemporary notions of piracy. This road movie captures with humor, poetry and spirit the cultural differences between China and Europe in a play of mirrors and contrasts.
